Dojo (道場) - Where the karate training happens

Kicks:
Keri (蹴り) - Kick
Maegeri (前蹴り) - Forward kick
Mawashigeri (回し蹴り) - Round kick
Yokogeri (横蹴り) - Side kick


Stances:
Dachi (立ち) - Stance
Hanmi (半身) - The body is turned such that the side of the upper body faces forward
Kiba dachi (騎馬立ち) - Horse back stance
Kokutsu dachi (後屈立ち) - Backward stance
Neko ashi dachi (猫足立ち) - Cat's foot stance
Shomen (正面) - Straight forward (may refer either to a direction in the dojo or to stances where the body is turned such that the hip faces forward)
Zenkutsu dachi (前屈立ち) - Forward stance
